Dear SQIP community,

The SQIP Executive Board, the conference organizers, and I have been monitoring the CDC and WHO guidelines regarding COVID-19, as well as the guidance provided by our universities and colleges. We have noted the mounting restrictions on travel, “shelter in place” orders, and prohibitions on in-person meetings. As you know, there is little evidence to suggest that the pandemic will be contained anytime soon. Therefore, we have decided that we must cancel this year’s conference.

Please know that we all share your disappointment. We will be exploring ways of carrying over portions of the program to next year’s conference, as well as options for virtual gatherings in the interim.
